Eligibility
The Texas-Chevron A&M Engineering Academy atAlamo Colleges Districtis for first-time students, full-time students and continuing students who have achieved a high school diploma or equivalent and are pre-calculus or calculus ready as determined by theAlamo Colleges District. Students interested in the Texas-Chevron A&M Engineering Academy atAlamo Colleges Districtmust first secure admission toAlamo Colleges District.
First-time, full-time studentsshouldsubmit an application to Alamo Colleges Districtand anadditional prequalification form. Students must take engineering, math and science courses at Northeast Lakeview College.
Continuing studentsalready enrolled at Alamo Colleges District who
Alamo Colleges District will provide pre-qualified students the link to the Texas A&M Engineering Academy application. Students should submit the Texas A&M Engineering Academyapplication by June 1and allsupplemental documents to the Texas A&M Office of Admissions byJune 15.Detailed information, instructions
Successful applicants will receive an offer of admission from Texas A&M University to the Engineering Academy atAlamo Colleges Districtand will be advised on how to accept the offer and register for courses.
Students admitted and enrolled in the Texas A&M-Chevron Engineering Academy program are engineering students in the College of Engineering at Texas A&M and are enrolled atAlamo Colleges District. Once enrolled, all courses must be completed throughAlamo Colleges Districtand Texas A&M University-College Station.Students previously enrolled at Texas A&M University are not eligible to apply.
